Poster Week part 3

Matt Goltz
20 July 2004

After having been a huge collector of theatrical posters for years, the artwork of the offerings of the last ten years has been less than inspiring. I find myself interested in the simpler imagery of photography since the fine art work of those such as Drew Struzan has seemingly gone out of fashion. The only ones I've seen these days that I'd actually looked into picking up have been the following:

Lost in Translation

Coffee and Cigarettes

Perfectly captures the essence of Bill Murray's character and the warm-coolness of the film, itself.   Decent black and white imagery of the coffee shop & diner culture, and a lot of my fave actors.
