Born 1974
Born and bread (lightly buttered) in the city of
Claremont, NH (not to be confused with London, England), Mark spent
countless sunny summer afternoons indoors, glued to the cathode-ray
hi-jinks of the Three
Stooges, the schlock-o-riffic majesty of Boston's
Creature Double Feature, Drive-In Saturday nights, and many, MANY
cheap matinees at the local hardtop. The addition of a VCR to the household
was like gasoline on a campfire, and soon his free moments were filled
with renting, taping, buying, and (if time permitted) watching more
and more flicks. Thus a cinematic education/obsession was born.
In the fall of 1992, Mark fell ass-backwards into the film department
at Keene
State College. Here he (yapple) dabbled in student films, directed
and hosted a weekly local-access comedy show, and fell in league with
the rest of the Film Basement gang. He now currently works in the video
production field, and goes to the
Drive-In as often as possible.
